Why AI security?
Modern AI systems are rapidly becoming some of the most powerful technologies ever created, and the security around them hasn't kept pace. Most frontier models still lack the infrastructure needed to defend against sophisticated state actors, and as these models evolve into autonomous agents that plan and act in the real world, capability is scaling faster than the controls meant to contain it. The risk comes from outside the lab and from within it, and closing that gap is what frontier AI security is for. Regulation and oversight are still catching up.
