At Heron - The AI Security Initiative, we place great importance on making our services accessible to people with disabilities, both in our offices and on our website. We are committed to promoting equality, transparency, and fairness, ensuring that everyone can access our information and services independently and with ease.

What is an Accessible Website?

An accessible website allows all individuals, including people with disabilities, to browse and use its features with the same level of efficiency and enjoyment as any other user. Accessibility is supported by personal computer or mobile device capabilities as well as assistive technologies.

Accessibility Features Implemented

This website was made accessible in accordance with Section G of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013, and the Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines. The site complies with Level AA accessibility.

Among other things, the site allows:

  • Navigation using a keyboard (Tab / Shift+Tab, arrow keys, Enter, Esc).

  • Use of screen reader software (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver).

  • Heading navigation using the H key or number keys.

The site is reviewed periodically to ensure that accessibility is properly maintained.

Limitations and Third-Party Content

Heron’s website is under ongoing accessibility maintenance. We are continuously testing and updating the site to ensure full accessibility for all users. Where digital services are not yet fully accessible, we provide alternative methods (such as email support).

Accessibility in Heron’s Offices

Heron’s offices accessibility arrangements include:

  • Step-free access from parking/public transportation to the entrance.
     

  • Elevator available.
     

  • Accessible restrooms available.
